Union Station

There's an area close to downtown called The Gulch.  Formerly a rail yard, it's now the land of high rise condos and trendy restaurants.  The northern entrance to The Gulch is marked by Union Station.  Once upon a time it was Nashville's train station.  Now it's a hotel and home to one of my favorite bars, The Flying Saucer.

  2. Greetings from British Columbia. I grew up in Nashville and my parents met at Union Station in 1943 or 44. If Mac is still around at Radio Cafe, tell him Victor said "hey". I used to play there every week. Thanks for all the sweet memories of my former stompin' grounds.
